The UCSD Guardian - Chief Copy Editor
In college, I wrote and edited for The UCSD Guardian, UC San Diego's student-run newspaper. As the Head Copy Editor (previously Associate Copy Editor, Copy Reader), I led an 8-person copy editing team to fact check and adhere to AP Style in every article. Each year, I recruited, interviewed, and trained new copy readers. I also gave quarterly presentations to staff writers about common mistakes and issues that have arisen in articles. As a former news writer, I researched and reported on news that impacted the UCSD community.
Here is a list of news articles I have written for The Guardian:
Court Dismisses Election Night Lawsuit from Student Against UCSD
UCSD Researchers Conduct Prep Study with Non-Cisgender Individuals
LSAT to go Completely Digital this Fall
