My Background

My passion for storytelling started in high school, when I joined my school newspaper, The Paly Voice. It was the first time my writing felt purposeful and had an impact on my community. 

 

In college, I interned at the Palo Alto Weekly newspaper and wrote for UCSD Jacobs School of Engineering and The UCSD Guardian. These experiences sharpened my ability to research, interview, and craft narratives for different audiences — and pushed me to think strategically about positioning: why does this story matter, to whom, and why now?

 

Journalism has ingrained in me the value of clarity and brevity, and that foundation has made me a stronger content designer.
